I would like to take this opportunity to update you on my law practice.

In 2008, my law practice grew enormously. I successfully collected over $2 million for my injury clients. As a Special Assistant Attorney General for the Department of Public Health, I prosecuted cases on behalf of the Childhood Lead Poisoning Prevention Program. My territory and prosecutorial responsibilities increased to include all counties west of Worcester. In addition, in order to protect consumers affected by the declining economy, I began to represent victims of predatory lending and mortgage foreclosure fraud.

In an effort to improve client services, I recently launched a new web site at www.ditusalaw.com. The site is designed to provide clients with useful information about injury claims as well as detailed information about my services and successes. Please feel free to visit the site and let me know what you think.

In 2008, I was able to further my personal commitment of giving back to society. I volunteered my professional services to assist indigent tenants facing eviction in the Western Division Housing Court, I served on a volunteer allocation committee for the United Way of Pioneer Valley, and I helped organize a meal for local homeless people through the Loaves and Fishes Community Kitchen. In addition, in November, I volunteered for Habitat for Humanity and traveled to New Orleans, Louisiana to help build houses in areas still devastated by Hurricane Katrina.

Unfortunately, the news in 2008 was not all good. Over the past six months, people have faced extraordinary challenges presented by our failing economy. Insurance companies, who pay the majority of injury claims, were not immune to the economic downturn. The end result is that insurers are tightening the belt on settlements and accident victims are finding it more difficult to obtain equitable compensation for their injuries. All the more reason to retain an experienced, aggressive lawyer to represent you if you’ve been injured in an accident.

Like you, I look forward to better times in 2009. As a current client, former client or friend, I want you to know that I am always available to consult with you on any legal matter. I am available to be retained on a wide variety of legal claims. However, if your legal needs are outside my areas of practice, my considerable contacts within the legal community enable me to refer you to an appropriate attorney.

Very truly yours,

Robert A. DiTusa
